The SunRider took many hours to reproduce through measuring and reproducing the shape. I had to do this because the craft came with no engines or mounts and I changed the type of skirt from segmented to bag type.
I designed the lift engine mounts from reproducing the lift duct. I made the mounts out of 12 gauge 304 stainless steel sheet metal. It is very strong and corrosion resistant.
I designed the thrust mount by reproducing the floor style of the craft so I knew where I would mount it. It is also made out of 12 gauge 304 stainless steel sheet metal. It mounts the engine and the fan.
